For the 2017-2018 local Peterborough Minor Hockey season, Paul Attard Real Estate is proud to be the Title Sponsor for the Novice A Petes. Since the beginning of the season a few short months ago, the team has been focused on their game, and also some great community events to help support their cause, and bring awareness to the team.
A great example of this was the Free Pumpkin Giveaway that was held at Morello’s Independent Grocer back in mid-October. In exchange for non-perishable food items purchased at the store for the local food bank, the team presented their donors with a free pumpkin for Halloween! It was a fun day, and the team collected a lot of much-needed items for Kawartha Food Share.
Other recent happenings included the team collecting at a fundraiser at one of the local Canadian Tire stores, and also having the honour of holding the Canadian flag at the OHL Petes game vs the Hamilton Bulldogs on October 29th!
